The workshop is a flexible session lasting between one and two hours as required, for children aged seven to ten. The art of magic is explored and explained, with fun activities to learn and practise.

At the end of this workshop, children will be able to entertain and amaze friends and family with some simple tricks using the materials provided. Performance techniques will be explored and developed, as well as the bare bones of how to do the tricks. Who knows, if the children take it further, they might grow up to be the next David Copperfield, Harry Houdini, or even Ian Saville!

As well as being a performer, Ian Saville is a qualified drama teacher, who has worked with children and adults of all ages. He is also a member of the Magic Circle.
