Leon Rosselson

Leon Rosselson has been one of Britain's leading songwriters since the early sixties when he was contributing to the TV satirical show That Was The Week That Was. Since then he has made numerous recordings and sung his songs in every conceivable venue up and down the country as well as in the U.S.A., Canada, Belgium, Sweden, Holland and Australia. His song The World Turned Upside Down was taken into the pop charts by Billy Bragg in 1985 and his own version of Ballad of a Spycatcher went into the Indie Singles charts in 1987. He has also written children's books, the first of which, Rosa's Singing Grandfather (Puffin) was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal in 1991.
